First Aid CPR and AED

The Heartsaver First Aid Course Teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical service personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult/infant CPR, and Automated External Defibrillation AED. Course meets the State of Oregon Child Care licensing requirement. American Heart Association (AHA) requires all students to have a copy of the course textbook to prepare for the course and to have it available for personal use. The book will be provided to you in class.

Basket Weaving - Oval Rainbow Basket

BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Course - Blended

Blended learning is a combination of eLearning (online portion), in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. Covers the knowledge and skills for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers, initial and renewal certification. Prepares a wide variety of healthcare professionals to recognize sudden cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in both children and adults. Successful completion of this course provides certification and an AHA BLS Provider Card. Online class portion needs to be done before the day of class. You will receive an email from CGCC AHA Training center with a link to the online class portion. *The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS), and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
