Photography: The Art of Photography

"The Art of Photography" by Paul Kuiper offers local scenic photography and world traveler experiences. Paul provides teaching and tips learned from master photographers such as Ansel Adams, Minor White, and others whom he studied with. The course includes assignments that can be completed with any camera and will be evaluated in class. All skill levels are welcome, and you don't need a fancy camera – you can use your phone, digital, or film cameras!
Playing Isn't Just for Kids: Creating Events that Honor, Connect, and Celebrate Families & Communities within our ECE

We will be exploring strategies & tools to include all families in our ECE programs in order to make connections with other families, creating a stronger community of parents and resources as well as honoring family cultures and connections to needed resources. Astronomy: An Introduction to Creation-Based Astronomy

Explore the universe through a creation-based lens in this introductory astronomy course. Over ten sessions, we’ll examine recent space discoveries and what they reveal about the Earth, Moon, planets, galaxies, and the cosmos — all from a biblical perspective. Using the photo-rich book Guide to the Universe, and featuring presentations by the son of Lunar and Planetary Astronomer Gerard P. Kuiper, this course blends science with faith for a thoughtful look at the heavens.. Students will have to purchase the Guide to the Universe, by Institute for Creation Research (ISBN-10 193558782X) text book before the start of class.
Pottery - Studio

Must be registered for Pottery as well to take the studio session. Studio time to develop your pottery skills to a new level by taking this class! It’s a chance to spread your wings and create what you want. This class is for beginning to advanced potters and covers levels of hand-building and wheel-throwing technique working with cone 6, mid-range clay and glazes with instruction in both. Clay is not included, but can be purchased from the CGCC Bookstore. No discounts or waivers.
