Blended learning combines eLearning (online component) where students independently complete part of the course, followed by a hands-on session. The Heartsaver First Aid Course educates rescuers on recognizing and treating adult emergencies until medical personnel arrive. It offers comprehensive training in first aid, adult/infant CPR, and AED. This course fulfills the State of Oregon Child Care licensing requirement. The online segment must be completed before the in-person session. An email from CGCC AHA Training center will contain the link for the online component.
