Save the Children’s Child Care Emergency Preparedness Training introduces providers to the foundational principles of preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies in child care settings. Participants will learn to recognize potential hazards and identify the key components of a written emergency plan. The training also introduces family communication and reunification, emergency supplies, inclusive planning, drills, and records protection. Participants will leave with increased awareness of emergency preparedness and practical starting points for strengthening their program’s existing plans and procedures. Set One in HSN.
