Columbia Gorge Community College

The course introduces the student to the Knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely. Students will learn about rifle parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, and rifle shooting fundamentals. This prepares the student with basic skills in handling a rifle for hunting or shooting for fun or basics for shooting sports. Range fee of $15 x2 will be paid to the range at the time of use.
