In this session, students will learn Spanish pronunciation of the five vowel sounds, about words that are similar in English and Spanish (cognates), common Spanish language names, the language used to get to know people, talk about family members, making words plural, classroom expressions, indefinite articles, and action verbs. The textbook for this class is Spanish is Fun: Lively Lessons for Beginners, Fourth Edition (available on Amazon for purchase) and is required for participation in this course.
