Are you looking to improve your strength, balance and flexibility while having fun? Aikido is a traditional martial art that blends the principles of self-protection with respect for the strengths and limitations of your body. More active than Tai Chi, and easier on the joints than Judo, Aikido is a martial art that is practical and enjoyable across many age groups and fitness levels. This class will teach you the basic movement patterns and techniques used in all of Aikido, as well as how to take the forward and backward rolls that keep you safe while training. Minors, ages 14-17 are permitted to enroll and attend as long as they are accompanied by a enrolled guardian at each session. Class/materials fee includes a gi (training uniform). No discounts or waivers.
